Job Responsibilities Include:
- Caring for the residents by showing passion for planning fun activities
- Helping with and participating in fun and engaging activities
- Ability to build trusting, professional relationships with patients, families, caregivers and referral sources
- Professional demeanor in facilitating activities as scheduled on calendar
- Engaging with residents in small group activities
- Capacity to assess individual resident interests
- Willingness to assist residents with their personal preferences for daily activities
- Capable of collaborating with other departments to conduct meaningful resident engagement
- Prove interested in providing one-on-one time with residents
- Aide with documentation of assessments, participation records, and other information as required by department leader
- Nursing Home Activities experience
- State Tested Nursing Assistant (preferred, not required)
