Responsibilities: Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in the Progressive Care Unit (PCU). Monitor patient vitals and respond to changes in patient conditions promptly. Administer medications and treatments such as IV infusions, chest tubes, and PCA pumps. Conduct neuro and spinal checks, and assist with procedures like C-Collar placement and lumbar drains. Collaborate with team members to ensure patient safety and comfort, following unit policies and guidelines. Document patient care activities accurately in Cerner EMR system.
