Food RunnerBased in the West Loop area, our new cutting-edge design, The Texan Taco bar, is an up-and-coming Tex-Mex inspired cuisine that offers remarkable service with 2 floors of dining experience, including a patio and retractable rooftop overlooking Randolph Street.Our ideal food runner is responsible for overseeing all carry out orders in addition to food running for in house customers at our tables. This will also involve double checking each food order to ensure accuracy. We are looking for passionate industry professionals.ResponsibilitiesGetting food to the proper table at the right timeClearing dirty plates and silverware as well as polishingStocking the kitchen expediting areaAssisting chefs with ordersPacking up takeout ordersResponding to other guest needsMaintaining a clean working areaRequirements1+ years of customer service experienceAbility to stand/walk a minimum of 8 hours or as neededAloha POS and Open Table knowledge is a plus!A positive attitude and ability work well under pressure with all restaurant staffMust have a great sense of hospitality and understand how it impacts on our businessExcellent interpersonal skills with a focus on customer serviceYour resume will be reviewed by a member of our team, and we'll reach out to you directly if there's a fit.
