Compensation Starting hourly rate: $18.50 USD per hour. Company Overview Target is a large retailer dedicated to creating a guest experience that makes families say “I love Target.” As part of the Human Resources team, you will partner with store leaders to build and support a passionate sales force that exceeds guests’ expectations. Responsibilities Create a welcoming experience by greeting all guests authentically. Observe guests to understand their needs and tailor interactions. Engage guests genuinely, asking questions to better understand their specific needs. Demonstrate knowledge of store products and services to resolve guest issues and enhance their experience. Thank guests sincerely and let them know we’re happy they chose to shop at Target. Understand store sales goals and trends that impact business results. Collaborate with HR leaders to anticipate and address talent and staffing needs. Execute intentional recruiting efforts to help store leaders find and hire talent with the right skills. Support the training needs of the store’s sales force and advocate continuous learning. Serve as a resource for scheduling systems, pay practices, and operational programs. Act as an open‑door resource, listening to team members and collaborating with leaders to take action as needed. Deliver on all Human Resources operational and cyclical programs. Demonstrate a culture of ethical conduct, safety, and compliance. Perform other duties as necessary based on business needs. Qualifications & Skills Welcoming and helpful attitude toward guests and team members. Ability to learn and adapt to current technology needs. Effective communication skills. Capacity to work independently and as part of a team. Ability to resolve guest questions quickly on the spot. Attention to detail and follow a multi‑step process. Accurate handling of cash register operations. Efficient handling of merchandise, including lifting up to 15 pounds regularly and up to 40 pounds occasionally. Flexible work schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
