Job Summary Production Supervisor – Paint & Batch Manufacturing Excelligence Learning Corporation is seeking a hands-on Production Supervisor to lead manufacturing operations at our Gardner, Kansas facility. Our team produces non-toxic, child-safe paints, liquid watercolors, glues, and other educational art materials distributed throughout North America. This role is responsible for overseeing daily production, leading manufacturing employees, maintaining quality standards, improving operational efficiency, and ensuring a safe work environment. The ideal candidate will bring supervisory experience within a manufacturing setting and a strong understanding of batch production processes. Preferred Qualifications 3-5+ years of manufacturing experience Previous supervisory, team lead, or shift leadership experience Experience in paint, coatings, chemical, food, beverage, adhesives, or other batch manufacturing environments Experience with inventory control, quality systems, and continuous improvement initiatives Forklift experience preferred Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills Key Responsibilities Lead daily production activities to meet safety, quality, and production goals Supervise and develop production employees Monitor workflow, labor utilization, and production output Ensure compliance with quality and safety standards Coordinate inventory usage and raw material control Partner with maintenance to minimize downtime Drive continuous improvement and waste reduction initiatives Maintain production and inventory records Excelligence Learning Corporation is an Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) Employer.
