Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations for residents to assess their physical capabilities, limitations, and rehabilitation goals.
• Design and implement individualized treatment plans that focus on enhancing strength, mobility, and overall functional independence.
• Administer various therapeutic modalities including manual therapy and therapeutic exercises tailored to each patient's unique condition.
• Continuously monitor and document residents' progress, making modifications to treatment plans as needed to ensure optimal recovery.
• Engage in regular collaboration with an interdisciplinary team to deliver integrated care, discussing patient progress and reassessing therapy approaches.
• Educate patients and their families on effective home exercise programs, ensuring continuity of care outside our facility.
• Maintain compliance with state and federal regulations, as well as the highest professional standards in practice.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily work with a diverse resident population, including geriatric patients and individuals recovering from surgeries or injuries. Your expertise will be vital in assisting patients who are striving to regain mobility and independence following significant health events. Qualifications

• Hold a current license to practice as a Physical Therapist in New York State.

Compensation and Benefits

We recognize the importance of our healthcare professionals and offer a competitive annual salary range of $90,000 to $110,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
