The associate will also be trained in receiving.Essential Functions:Responsible for pulling, packing, and shipping parts in a cost-effective, timely manner to meet or exceed our customers' expectations.Required to cross-train to learn all jobs in shippingCheck for accuracy between the pick slip and the items pulledMeeting standards for accuracy and timeliness for pulling, packing, and shipping customer orders.Pack orders in an appropriate manner for shipmentEnter shipping data into the proper shippers' software interface and print shipping documentsDaily mail runResponsible for receiving deliveries from vendors on the dockCalculate freight for order entry inquiries. Simulate weight & box dimensions for special ordersRead & follow customer order notesMaintain shipping materials stockReceiving back-up during non-peak timesCoordinate with Marketing for the shipment of Trade Show-related materialsMinimum Qualifications:2+ years of shipping and receiving experiencePicking and packing experienceStrong computer skills (BPCS, Microsoft Office) are highly desirableAbility to read floor layout maps to locate materials for pullingBasic Math SkillsAbility to identify appropriately sized shipping containers for orders of varying shapes, sizes, and weights and to pack items to prevent damage during shipmentAbility to use and adapt to various shippers' software packagesAbility to read item numbers, descriptions, quantities, lot/serial numbers, instructions, and other informationAbility to multitask in a highly dynamic environmentAttention to detailDemonstrated team skills and experience working in a team environmentExcellent communication skills, both verbal and writtenWorking Conditions & Physical Demands of the JobGeneral shipping/receiving office environmentMust be able to lift 50 poundsRegularly required to sit or stand, reach, bend, and move about the facilityMust be able to sit and stand for extended periods.8:00 am -4:30 pm, subject to change based on business needsWHAT WE CAN OFFER YOU:Generous PTO package and paid holidaysGenerous retirement savings planCustomizable health, dental and vision insurance (eligible on first date)Career progression plansReward and recognition programsPaid parental leaveTuition ReimbursementCompany Wellness ProgramEmployee Discount ProgramThe estimated pay range for this position is $18/hr.. Starting pay is dependent on multiple factors, such as skills, experience, and work location.
