Extrusion Operator

Extrusion OperatorReporting to our VP of Ops, this is an on-site, full time, non-exempt position. The organized, self-motivated, individual in this position is responsible for setting up and operating extrusion machines in accordance with established procedures, guidelines, and customer requirements. In this role you'll get to:Set up and adjust settings on the extrusion line and auxiliary equipment to run sheet at required thickness, width, roll diameter/weight, silicone load and direction.Ensure quality objectives and specifications for thickness, width, clarity, gels, carbon specs, visual defects, etc. are met.Ensures finished good roll diameter and weight requirements are met without exceeding maximum specifications.Perform general maintenance on the equipment as needed; communicate all changes to equipment and settings to other departmental personnel.Our ideal candidate will have:High School Diploma or equivalent (required)Minimum 2 years' experience operating and setting up extrusion machines (required)Strong mechanical and problem-solving aptitude (preferred)What you'll get:Competitive compensation and benefits, including paid time off.
