At Brown’s Property Services, we believe quality work starts with the right people. We’re looking for a Mow Crew Lead who takes pride in their work, leads by example, and treats every property as if it were their own.

As a Crew Lead, you’ll work alongside your team to complete high-quality lawn care and grounds maintenance for residential and commercial customers. You’ll be responsible for setting the standard, sharing your knowledge, training team members in proper techniques, and ensuring every job is completed efficiently, safely, and to our high standards.

We are not a production mowing company. Our customers trust us to keep their properties looking their best. That means paying attention to the details, maintaining a well-manicured appearance, and recognizing changes in turf or landscaping that may require additional attention or services.

Previous experience leading a crew and performing lawn care or grounds maintenance for residential and commercial properties is preferred. However, we’re also willing to consider someone with a strong lawn care background, a passion for the industry, and the leadership potential to grow into the role through training.

We rarely work weekends. When weekend work is necessary, it is typically due to weather and may be arranged as a trade for a weekday when possible.

This is a year-round position that requires overtime as needed and 24/7 on-call availability for snow removal during the winter season. Snow events can require work outside normal business hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays. When snow removal demands take time away from your normal family or personal schedule, we make every effort to provide compensatory time off during the week when operationally possible.

• Valid driver's license with three or fewer points .

• Reliable personal transportation to and from our work location near Hanover, east of Newark, Ohio.

• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and perform lawn care, grounds maintenance, and winter snow removal duties.

• Willingness to work overtime as needed.

• Availability for 24/7 on-call snow removal during the winter season.

• Experience leading a team and performing lawn care or grounds maintenance, or the demonstrated potential and motivation to grow into a leadership role.

• Willingness to complete a background check.

• Must maintain a drug-free and smoke-free work environment. Drug testing may be conducted at any time.
