Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse (L&D RN)We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse (L&D RN) to join our team. This role requires a minimum of two years of labor and delivery experience. The L&D RN will work night shifts, specifically three 12-hour shifts per week from 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM, and will be expected to work every other weekend.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide high-quality nursing care to laboring and postpartum mothers and newborns.Monitor fetal heart rates and maternal vital signs, utilizing advanced fetal monitoring systems.Assist with deliveries and support patients through labor and childbirth.Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient care and outcomes.Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, including assessments and interventions, using Epic charting.Participate in on-call rotations as required, covering two 12-hour shifts during a six-week period.QualificationsExperience: Minimum of 2 years of labor and delivery nursing experience required.Licensure: Current RN license in South Carolina or a multi-state/compact RN license.Certifications Required: BLS, ACLS, AWHONN Beginner, AWHONN Intermediate, FHM, NRP.Certifications Preferred: AWHONN Advanced, STABLE.Technology Experience: Proficiency in Epic is preferred; familiarity with couplet care or transition nursery is a plus.Additional InformationScrubs will be provided in navy surgical colors.Parking is offered at no cost with a pass provided on the start date.Traveling staff may be assigned to emergency response teams during hurricane season (June to November).Local candidates are welcome on a case-by-case basis.If you are a passionate and experienced Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse looking to make a difference in the lives of mothers and newborns, we encourage you to apply.
