This position is located at the Astria Toppenish Hospital in our Emergency Department. Shift: 8:00am - 4:30pm Monday - Friday What you get to do every day! This position is responsible for maintaining the Trauma Registry by capturing accurate and complete information on all patients entered in the Trauma Registry and assists is trending aggregate data to evaluate the Trauma Program performance. You will: Continually analyzes records for deficiencies, while reporting records and submits trauma data to the State of Washington. Continually monitors pending work to assure medical records are assembled and analyzed timely. Performs Quality Improvement screenings on a frequent basis. Maintains monthly daily charge summary for dialysis Performs other duties as assigned Collaborate effectively across organizational boundaries. Adheres to the core values and standards of the organization. Requirements High School Diploma Completion of recognized course study or accredited organization in one of the following: Trauma Registrar, Medical Assistant, or Health Information coding. Oral and written fluency in the English language. This position is identified as a non safety‑sensitive position, however, impairment while on the job would present a substantial risk of death.
