Job Title : Medical Assistant

Location : 1645 E Roosevelt Phoenix, AZ

Duration : 6-7 months with possible extension

Job Description:

We are seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Medical Assistant to support clinicians in our STI Clinic and help prevent the spread of communicable diseases.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare examination rooms and assist with patient flow.
• Perform venipuncture, specimen collection, injections, and routine clinical procedures.
• Record patient histories, document care in electronic medical records (EMR), and assist providers during examinations.
• Support diagnostic testing, patient education, and follow-up documentation.
• Receive and document laboratory results while maintaining accurate patient records.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED and completion of an accredited Medical Assistant training program.
• At least 1 year of Medical Assistant experience , including venipuncture and administering injections or vaccines.
• Experience with electronic medical records (EMR).
• National Medical Assistant certification preferred.
• Bilingual English/Spanish skills preferred.
• Must possess or be able to obtain a valid Arizona driver’s license by the time of hire.
