If this sounds like the right opportunity for you as an LPN, apply today!Job SummaryDispense methadone safely and in compliance with all local, state and federal regulations to clients as instructed by the DON, Assistant DON, and/or Medical Director in an outpatient setting. Monitor clients to ensure that all of their medical needs are met while coordinating with all areas of the organization to ensure that clients are safe.Responsibilities and DutiesIdentifies and prioritizes client care needs using client history and nursing assessmentProvides direct client carePerforms daily client medication administration and reconciliation, ensuring proper documentation and workflowDocuments pertinent information in client's chart and accurately reports and makes observations to appropriate staffPractice safety, environmental, and infection control methodsWill be required to perform other duties as assignedQualifications and SkillsMust have an active and valid NJ LPN licensePrevious experience as an LPN, prior experience in a substance abuse facility a plusFamiliarity with medical software and equipmentAt MCAC, we're committed to leading change in addiction treatment.
