Join our growing early childhood team and help shape young minds! We are looking for a responsible, dependable, and enthusiastic Preschool Teacher/Assistant to work part time, with opportunities for additional hours as our program grows.

About the Role

The Preschool Teacher/Assistant will help create a safe, nurturing, and engaging classroom environment where children can learn, play, explore, and grow. The ideal candidate will be comfortable taking charge of a small group of children, supporting daily routines, helping manage behaviors in a calm and appropriate way, and responding responsibly in emergency situations.

What You'll Do

Responsibilities

• Supervise and engage preschool-aged children in a safe, positive, and developmentally appropriate manner.
• Lead or assist with small-group activities, classroom routines, play, art, story time, meals, rest time, and transitions.
• Support children’s social, emotional, and behavioral development using patience, consistency, and positive guidance.
• Help maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming classroom environment.
• Communicate respectfully and professionally with children, families, and coworkers.
• Work closely with the lead teacher and other staff members as a reliable and flexible team player.
• Follow classroom procedures, safety guidelines, and emergency protocols.
• Model kindness, responsibility, and respect while helping children build confidence and independence.

Requirements

• Someone who is patient, calm under pressure, and able to respond appropriately to challenging behaviors or emergency situations.
• A positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to build warm, respectful relationships with children and staff.
• Previous experience working with children is preferred, but a caring attitude, willingness to learn, and strong work ethic are essential.
• CPR/First Aid certification or willingness to obtain certification is a plus.

About Us

Grow Together Learning Center, LLC is a licensed child care center for pre-school aged children infants to Kindergarten. We believe in learning through play and fostering curiosity at a young age. Our center is a safe, clean, nurturing and creative environment where children can thrive. We are open year round Monday through Friday 7:30 AM to 5:30 PM.
