Assistant Plant Manager

Job Description

The Assistant Plant Manager plays a vital role in overseeing production processes, ensuring safety, and maintaining quality across the plant. Responsible for supervisin a medium-sized team of 11-30 employees, this role directly reports to the Plant Manager and focuses on improving operational efficiency without travel requirements. Expertise in ERP and production tracking software is essential to support daily plant functions.

Responsibilities

Oversee daily production activities to meet operational goals
Supervise and support plant staff to maintain high performance
Manage safety procedures to ensure compliance with regulations
Implement quality assurance measures to uphold product standards
Control inventory and coordinate materials flow effectively
Ensure regular maintenance and uptime of equipment

Preferred Qualifications

2+ years experience in plant operations management
Strong skills in operations management and problem solving
Effective communication abilities
Proficient in inventory control methods
