Overview Part-Time Optometrist (OD) – Wichita, Kansas Schedule 4–7 weekdays per month (Monday and/or Friday preferred) Compensation $900 per day/visit Position Type Independent Contractor (1099) The Opportunity Comprehensive Mobile Care (CMC) is seeking a Part-Time Optometrist to provide high-quality vision care within a structured, outpatient clinic-based environment in Wichita, Kansas. This role allows you to practice meaningful, mission-driven care without the administrative burden of running your own practice. You’ll serve as an integrated member of a coordinated clinical team supporting senior populations in a predictable, organized setting. The Setting This opportunity operates within a community-based outpatient clinic model designed for consistency and support: Full-time clinic staff on-site Organized scheduling and patient flow Collaborative, team-based care environment Value-based model focused on seniors All equipment, supplies, scheduling, and billing handled by CMC What You’ll Do Perform comprehensive eye exams and vision assessments Diagnose and manage common ocular conditions within your scope Prescribe corrective lenses and provide treatment recommendations Partner with clinic staff as part of an integrated care team Deliver patient-centered care in a structured outpatient environment What Makes This Role Different This is not a high-volume retail model.
