This urgent care center is part of a well-established network of community-focused healthcare facilities dedicated to providing high-quality, accessible care across North Carolina. The center operates with a supportive team including a Center Manager, Medical Assistants, Patient Service Associates, and an offsite Supervising Physician for APP providers.

Advanced Practice - Physician Assistant - Urgent Care

Job Details:

• Provide urgent care services as the sole provider in the center, treating both adult and pediatric patients (6 months and up)
• Must be local and already residing in the immediate Candler, NC area - travel and lodging reimbursement are not provided
• Handle high-volume patient care with an average of 45 patients per day and up to 60 patients per day depending on site volume
• Perform urgent care procedures including laceration repair, ear irrigation, and other minor procedures
• Must have a minimum of 12 months of experience - new graduates will not be considered
• Must hold an active NC license and active NC DEA
• Board certification required (BC/NCCPA/NP Boards) along with BLS certification
• Proficiency with Epic EMR is required; modified EMR training will be provided prior to first solo shift
• Must maintain strong interpersonal and soft skills when working one-on-one with support staff and patients
• Weekday availability required at the Candler, NC location
• Provider must successfully pass a clinical screening interview prior to onboarding
• Onboarding and EMR training occur on set Wednesdays and are mandatory - providers unable to participate will not be considered
• Supervising Physician will be provided offsite for locum APP providers
• Estimated credentialing timeframe is approximately 20 days
• No call requirements

Compensation:
Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included.
