Shift: Days | No Routine Weekends

We are seeking an experienced CVOR Registered Nurse (RN) to join a highly specialized cardiovascular surgical team. This opportunity is ideal for nurses with cardiovascular operating room experience who thrive in a fast-paced surgical environment and are passionate about delivering exceptional patient care.

Responsibilities:
• Provide comprehensive perioperative nursing care for cardiovascular surgical patients
• Maintain and monitor sterile technique throughout surgical procedures
• Assess and prepare patients prior to surgery
• Participate in surgical time-outs and ensure compliance with patient safety protocols
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, perfusionists, and surgical staff
• Serve as a clinical resource and support a positive team environment
• Deliver high-quality patient-centered care while adhering to clinical and regulatory standards

Requirements:
• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required
• Active Texas RN License or Multi-State Compact RN License
• Current BLS and ACLS Certifications
• Minimum 1 year of CVOR experience as a licensed RN in an acute care setting
• Experience in CVOR, Operating Room, Surgical Services, and Cardiovascular Surgery

Preferred:
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
• CNOR Certification

Alternative Experience Consideration:
• Experienced Operating Room Nurses with 10+ years of OR experience may be considered for CVOR cross-training

Schedule & Call Requirements:
• Day Shift Position
• Operating Hours: 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM
• Schedule Options:

• Four 10-hour shifts per week
• Three 12-hour shifts per week
  • On-Call Requirement:
• 1 Weekend Per Month
• 3-4 Weekday Call Shifts Per Month
  • Candidates must reside within a 30-minute commute of the facility
