Job Description
Registered Nurse (RN) - Cardiovascular Laboratory

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse to provide exceptional patient care within the Cardiovascular Laboratory, primarily focused on adult and geriatric patient populations.

Key Responsibilities

Deliver direct patient care, addressing psychosocial and physical aspects of care in the surgical environment.
Maintain continuous communication with physicians regarding patient conditions and needs.
Assist in the maintenance of equipment and inventory, ensuring all necessary supplies are available for procedures.
Evaluate the functioning and readiness of procedure rooms and medical equipment.
Monitor physiological and hemodynamic data relevant to diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.
Continuously assess and record patient conditions during their time in the Cardiovascular Laboratory.
Participate in performance improvement and continuous quality enhancement activities.

Qualifications

Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
Active state Registered Nurse (RN) license required.
Current Basic Life Support (BCLS) certification; Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification required upon start and must be maintained.
A minimum of four years of clinical experience in a Cardiovascular Laboratory or Critical Care setting is required.
