Certifications: BLS, ARRT RT (R) (CT), SCRQSA (R) (CT)

Must-Have: Siemens experience and level 1 trauma experience

Description: Agency must supply radiation badge. October start date. Daily caseload per tech varies per shift and location. Schedule includes working 3x12 hour shifts. Shift times are from 7 PM to 7:30 AM. Holiday rotation is included. On-call rotation is required with staff. May require floating to other areas to meet facility needs. Travelers are expected to attend staff meetings. Client badge must be provided by the agency. Experience with Level 1 trauma is required. Previous experience is accepted for first-timers. MUSC prioritizes non-local candidates but will consider locals on a case-by-case basis. Pending state license is not accepted; must have license in hand at the time of start. All requests for time off must be included at the time of submission. Facility allows calling off one shift per two weeks. Type of facility is a teaching hospital with a total of 865 staffed beds. Staffing may rotate through all buildings when needed. Travelers should be aware that during hurricane season, all employees and contractors may be assigned to emergency response teams. Candidates must complete all labs within specified timeframes. Modules are non-billable and average four hours spent on them.
