Responsabilidades
- Inspeccionar y limpiar las áreas de preparación de alimentos, como equipos y superficies de trabajo o áreas de servicio para garantizar prácticas de manipulación de alimentos seguras e higiénicas.
- Garantizar la frescura de los alimentos y los ingredientes comprobando la calidad, realizando un seguimiento de los artículos viejos y nuevos, y rotando el inventario
- Asegurar de que los alimentos se almacenen y cocinen a la temperatura correcta regulando la temperatura de los hornos, freidoras y estufas
- Preparar y cocinar los alimentos según las recetas.
Requisitos físicos
- Capacidad para levantar 50 libras
- Capacidad para trabajar de pie durante 8 horas
- Requiere flexión, torsión y movimiento repetitivo
- Capacidad para trabajar en ambientes calurosos y con equipos calientes
Requisitos
- Se prefiere experiencia previa como cocinero de restaurante
- Certificación de ServeSafe o certificación de alimentos (Food Handler’s card)
(o debe estar dispuesto a obtenerla)
- Habilidades de comunicación efectiva
- Requiere trabajar con otros en equipo
