Duties

Help

• You will utilize and oversee management information systems (MIS) to manage and analyze logistics data.
• You will identify process deficiencies, recommend improvements, and manage complex projects like inventory capitalization, redistribution, and verification.
• You will lead, develop, and provide technical training and mentorship to military and civilian personnel on retrograde processing, packaging, and supply system procedures.

• This position is covered under the Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA). Certification in the Acquisition Functional Area and category assigned to the position is required within established category timeframes.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.

Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:

1) Experience in managing and providing strategic oversight for a complex logistics program;

2) Developing and implementing program goals, monitoring performance metrics to ensure mission success, and ensuring a significant return on investment;

3) Expert knowledge of Depot Level Repairables (DLRs) and retrograde processes to improve and sustain logistics support for military operations;

4) Analyzing and resolving complex issues related to asset packaging, documentation, tracking, and transportation to reduce lead times and repair costs;

5) Experience in developing training and process improvement tools, such as Quality Assurance sampling systems, and ERMs oversight;

6) Experience providing logistical support and oversight to operational units in various environments, including aboard naval vessels or in forward-deployed locations.
