Lead Video Editor

The Video Editor Lead serves as the Senior Editor within the Creative Media team, providing leadership over post-production workflows while producing high-quality video content that supports the company's marketing, brand, eCommerce, retail, and social media initiatives. This role partners closely with the Senior Creative Media Director to establish editing standards, improve production workflows, and ensure creative consistency across all video deliverables.

The Video Editor Lead serves as the primary hands-on editor, leading the editing of high-impact video content from concept through final delivery. This role is heavily focused on day-to-day editing while also providing guidance, support, and mentorship to other editors and creative team members as needed. The Video Editor Lead helps maintain post-production quality standards, improves editing workflows, and collaborates cross-functionally to deliver compelling content that supports business objectives in a fast-paced creative environment.

Required Skills & Experience
• Bachelor's degree in Film Production, Video Production, Multimedia, Communications, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• Minimum of 5 years of professional video editing experience, including experience leading complex creative projects.
• Advanced proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro and Adobe Creative Cloud applications.
• Advanced knowledge of storytelling, editing techniques, color grading, audio production, and motion graphics.
• Experience mentoring or leading creative professionals or freelancers.
• Proven ability to manage multiple high-priority projects simultaneously.
• Strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and leadership skills.
• Ability to make sound creative decisions while balancing business priorities.


Nice to Have Skills & Experience
• Experience leading post-production teams in a consumer packaged goods (CPG), health and wellness, or lifestyle brand environment.
• Experience producing content for Amazon, paid social advertising, retail marketing, and eCommerce.
• Advanced proficiency with Adobe After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator, and DaVinci Resolve.
• Experience managing freelance editors or agency creative partners.
• Knowledge of emerging video technologies, AI-assisted editing tools, and evolving social media trends.
• Photography and videography experience.
