Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• ARRT (MR) certification (or equivalent required)
• Active MRI technologist license as required by state
• Previous MRI experience, with proficiency in administering IV and oral contrast media
• Strong communication skills for patient interaction and multidisciplinary teamwork
• Ability to adapt to varying protocols and new equipment

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare scan room and patients for MRI examinations
• Draw up and administer contrast as needed, ensuring patient safety and proper screening
• Operate high-tech MRI equipment; perform pre-scan equipment protocols and data entry
• Position and transport patients, monitoring for contraindications or allergies
• Execute scans with careful attention to protocols, patient orientation, and image order
• Organize records for radiologists, ensuring clinical information is accurate and complete
