Role Description This part-time Business Manager role at Salamander Services is a hybrid position based in Catonsville, MD, with a mix of on-site and work-from-home responsibilities. The role also involves maintaining accurate records, ensuring compliance with company policies, and collaborating with team members to support strategic initiatives. Qualifications Demonstrated ability to manage day-to-day business operations, including scheduling, workflow coordination, and administrative support. Experience with budgeting, expense tracking, and basic financial reporting to support sound business decisions. Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks in a part-time, hybrid work environment. Effective written and verbal communication skills for interacting with clients, vendors, and internal stakeholders. Proficiency with standard office software (e.g., word processing, spreadsheets, email, video conferencing) and comfort learning new digital tools. Ability to work both independently and collaboratively, maintaining reliability and accountability while working remotely and on-site. Experience in small business management, operations, or office administration is highly beneficial. Relevant education such as an associate or bachelor's degree in Business, Management, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
