IT Help Desk Support Specialist

POSITION OVERVIEW:

Applies technical knowledge to assist internal users with computer problems

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Coordinates investigations to diagnose and resolve hardware, software, network, system, and user-related IT issues. Conducts research to understand, explain and resolve technical issues Communicates updates to users that have been or may be affected by a problem and follows up with users after problems have been resolved. Utilizes help desk tracking software to present recommendations and improvements for user systems. Initiates onboarding procedures for new users into the system and ensures response time are quick and effective to appropriately revolve requests. Coordinates referrals to technical, professional or service personnel depending on the repair, training, service or software issue. Update and Manage Microsoft Office 365 Admin Portal, Teams, SharePoint, and OneDrive Manage user accounts, access permissions, security groups, and application access across company systems.

KEY REQUIREMENTS:

Bachelors degree is strongly preferred; with 2-4 years experience Prior experience working in a company with multiple entities desired Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy. Trouble shooting skills, ability to foster teamwork Decision making skills. With proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite for Windows and MAC Prior experience with MAC and Windows OS environment Strong planning and organizational skills with the ability to timely follow through on tasks. Must be able to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment, be self-motivated. Must be willing and able to travel to various job sites.
