Loss Prevention Officer – Mason City, IA Immediate opening for a full‑time position. Job Description Identify shoplifters through floor patrol and the use of Closed Circuit TV Report writing Interacting with local law enforcement agencies as needed Provide courtroom testimony as required Ability to read, write and speak English proficiently. Full‑time / 40 hours per week $22.00 per hour Health Insurance / 401k Paid Time Off Job Requirements Pre‑Employment criminal background and drug screen Ability to sit, stand and walk for up to 3–4 hours at a time Reliable transportation Ability to communicate clearly and accurately through verbal and written means Ability to write legible, accurate and easily understood reports Must be assertive, yet controlled in dealing with confrontation Must be trustworthy and able to work under little or no direct supervision Attendance for scheduled shifts. Tardiness and absenteeism is not tolerated Previous loss prevention experience a plus, but not a requirement High school diploma or equivalent (minimum) Criminal Justice or related studies a plus This is an immediate opening.
