Full-Time Line/Prep CookHarbour Pointe Golf Club, located in New Bern, NC, is pleased to announce an excellent career opportunity for a Full-Time Line/Prep Cook! We are seeking a driven individual who is eager to learn, contribute, and grow within a fast-paced hospitality-focused property organization. As part of Troon, you'll contribute to a global leader in golf and community management. Compensation: $15.00 hourly Key Responsibilities of the Line/Prep Cook:Learns and maintains standards in food production and quality.Expedites orders in a timely manner.Practices excellent operational sanitation.Executes scheduled banquet functions.Maintains a professional relationship with fellow associates.Helps reduce loss/waste.Communicates equipment repair needs with chef.Actively participates in training efforts.Incorporates safe work practices in job performance.Attends staff meetings.Checks and dates all deliveries received and report any variances to chef in charge.Verifies that all coolers are at the proper temperatures and are cleaned on a daily basis.Processes inventory requisition and receive supplies as necessary for quality production.Prepares the proper amount of food according to production or forecast sheets and production plans.Prepares items in accordance with established recipes for a consistent product.Qualifications for the Line/Prep Cook:Associates Culinary Degree and 2 years of Culinary Experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.Must have flexible hours including mornings, evening, weekends and holidaysServ Safe Certified preferred.Benefits & Other Compensation: This position includes eligibility for the following benefits, subject to applicable plan terms:Healthcare Benefits – Medical, Dental, and Vision coverageRetirement Benefits – 401(k) with employer match (19 years of age and older)Time Off – Paid time off (PTO) and leaves of absence, in accordance with applicable law and eligibility criteriaEligibility for benefits and the specific terms, conditions, and offerings are governed by the applicable plan documents and company policies, which may be amended at the Company's discretion.About Troon: Founded in 1990 and headquartered in Scottsdale, AZ, Troon is the world's largest professional club management company, that specializes in services in golf, hospitality, and residential communities.
