Job Title: RN - BMT/ONC Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Bone Marrow Transplantation/Oncology Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Night Shift Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 1 year License: RN License Required Certifications: ONS/ONCC Chemotherapy Immunotherapy Certification (15.25 contact hours) Required Must-Have: - Oncology experience - Chemotherapy certification through ONS/ONCC Description: This is a contract position for an RN in the Bone Marrow Transplantation and Oncology specialty. The position is for a duration of 13 weeks with night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM. Experience in administering chemotherapy and handling hazardous drugs is essential. Candidates must have completed the ONS/ONCC chemotherapy immunotherapy certification course with 15.25 contact hours. Familiarity with TCT practices is required. Applicants should be detail-oriented and possess excellent teamwork skills. The typical patient ratio is 1:3 or 1:4. Typical procedures include chemotherapy and biotherapy treatment, blood product administration, frequent lab draws, and cell transplants. A dress code is enforced: scrubs must be navy, and artificial nails or gel nails are not permitted. Masks are required in patient care areas.
