Our team is responsible for pioneering high-performance air and missile defense, air-to-air, precision fires, close combat, sustainment, sensors, strike system, and energy storage solutions to support our warfighting and civilian customers. What You Will Be Doing As the Software Quality Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of our software solutions, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative products. Apply now to join our dynamic team and take your career to the next level!MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN -The selected candidate must have the ability to obtain a security clearance.Basic Qualifications• STEM degree at the bachelor level or above, or equivalent combined education/experience• Experience in system/software dependencies, process flow and development methodologies• Occasional travel is required to support program activities• Must be eligible for Secret Security ClearanceDesired Skills• Able to work independently in an environment with challenging requirements and dynamic schedules• Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage and resolve technical issues with multiple teams, suppliers, and customer• Experience working with cross‑functional teams (developers, system engineers, testers, suppliers) to ensure they understand and follow prescribed quality and process controls• Demonstrated experience performing evaluations of software processes and products• Experience in test planning, processing, and nonconformance processing, including root cause analysis and corrective action development• Experience in establishing quality assurance performance metrics for identifying process improvement• Experience with US Military customers and/or other government customer support organizations• Experience working with defense subcontractors and suppliers• Lean Six Sigma (Green Belt)• Root Cause Analysis methodologies and development of Corrective Action Plans• Knowledge of Industry recognized Quality Systems / Models such as Capability Maturity Model Integrated (CMMI), QMS System Audit (AS9100, ISO9001)Pay InformationFull-Time Salary Range: $85300.00 - $158300.00At Lockheed Martin, we know mission success starts with taking care of our people.
