California Licensed Home Loan Processor
Virtual Vocations Inc
To support a growing home loan operations team, the full-time California Licensed Home Loan Processor will manage mortgage transactions, coordinate communication with members and stakeholders, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements while working remotely in California. Key responsibilities Coordinate and communicate information related to loan processing with members, Home Loan Advisors, and vendors Review and calculate income and asset verification from documentation, ensuring compliance with investor guidelines Manage the loan pipeline to meet service levels, efficiency standards, and loan quality requirements Required qualifications High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) preferred; additional work experience may substitute for education At least 2 years of mortgage lending or processing experience preferred Thorough understanding of state and federal laws related to credit union compliance, including BSA, RESPA, TILA, and TRID Experience with Desktop Underwriter (DU) and Loan Origination Systems (LOS) Knowledge of FNMA and related investor guidelines
