About the Position

Job Title: Cardiovascular Technologist II Profession: Cardiovascular Technologist Specialty: Cardiovascular Technologist Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 07:00 AM - 05:30 PM Hours per Shift: 10 hours Experience: Minimum 5 years License: ARRT Certifications: RCIS required Must-Have: 2+ years of experience as a Radiologic Technologist required; 1+ years of travel experience required Description: The Cardiac Catheterization Technologist II acts as a critical member of the patient care team within the department. Collaborates fully with other care team members to ensure continuity of care for patients. Promotes a philosophy of patient and family-focused care in all interactions with patients and families. Focuses on understanding and meeting customer needs. Evening, weekend, and holiday call is possible during the contract but no weekend or holiday shifts are worked. In a 13-week contract, expect 1-3 weeknight calls and possibly 1 weekend (not guaranteed). The department includes upgraded procedure rooms and a peri-procedural space for patient preparation and recovery. The primary charting system is Epic, and hemodynamics measurements are performed using the Siemens Sensis system. The lab averages over 30 cases per day. Case types range from outpatient procedures to complex coronary interventions. ACLS certification is required.
