Requirements:

• Current and Valid Illinois Psychologist Endorsement
• Ability to communicate clearly and concisely
• Able to perform duties with awareness of all district requirements and Board of Education policies

Terms of Employment: 190 Day Full Time

Start Date: 2026-2027 School Year

Minimum Qualifications/Required Skills:

Responsibilities/Duties Essential Job Functions:

• Provide support services to elementary school students
• Coordinate or serve as a member of a diagnostic team and educational planning and placement committee
• Provide psychological and sociological assessment information related to planning for children with special education needs
• Perform casework services with parents as an integral part of assisting student
• Increase parents understanding and participation in resolving their child's needs and informing them of appropriate resources available
• Responsible for writing and implementing individual education plans and have familiarity with response to intervention
• Maintain accurate and timely records for the purpose of monitoring student progress
• Assess student progress towards targets and standards for the purpose of providing feedback to students, parents and administration throughout the learning process
• Communicate and collaborate with instructional staff, school personnel, parents and a variety of community resources for the purpose of improving the overall quality of student outcomes
• Understanding of various formal and informal assessment strategies and uses them to support the continuous development of students
• Perform such other appropriate duties as may be assigned by the building Principal
