Demand Generation Manager

Location: Austin, TX – Hybrid, 3 days per week in office Employment Type: Full-time Experience: 3–5 years B2B Demand Generation Travel: Approximately 10–15% SG Talent is partnering with a growing B2B technology company to hire a Demand Generation Manager to take ownership of its always-on demand generation engine. This is a broad, hands-on growth marketing role for someone who enjoys working across paid acquisition, organic search, website conversion, webinars and account-based marketing — while ultimately being accountable for one thing: creating measurable new-business pipeline . This is not a role where you'll simply manage agencies or execute someone else's campaign plan. You'll have ownership of the channel strategy, digital budget and performance, while working closely with sales and marketing leadership to continually improve how demand is generated and converted. What You'll Own Build and manage always-on demand generation programs across paid search, paid social, content syndication and retargeting Own the channel mix and regularly optimize investment based on pipeline and performance data Manage paid campaigns across platforms including Google Ads, Microsoft Ads, LinkedIn and Meta Own acquisition-focused webinars from topic selection and promotion through registration, follow-up and pipeline measurement Develop and execute organic search strategy across traditional SEO as well as emerging AEO and GEO / generative search Improve the company website as a revenue-generating channel, including landing pages, conversion paths, forms, testing and lead routing Build and execute account-based marketing campaigns targeting strategic new-business accounts Partner closely with sales and outbound teams on target-account strategy and activation Work alongside and help direct an external paid media agency Own and manage the digital marketing budget, reallocating spend based on performance Report on demand-generation performance including pipeline created, cost per opportunity and conversion by channel and audience segment What We're Looking For 3–5 years of experience in B2B demand generation Demonstrable experience personally owning or being accountable for a pipeline target Hands-on experience building and optimizing campaigns across paid digital channels Experience with Google Ads, LinkedIn Ads and other major paid media platforms Strong understanding of organic SEO, including keyword strategy, content optimization and on-page/technical fundamentals An understanding of how AI-driven search, AEO and generative search are changing B2B discovery Experience building, testing and optimizing landing pages and conversion journeys Experience with account-based marketing in partnership with sales or outbound teams Strong working knowledge of HubSpot and Salesforce , particularly campaign reporting, attribution and lead routing Experience marketing into complex B2B sales cycles involving multiple stakeholders and buying committees Comfortable moving between strategy, execution and performance analysis Nice to Have Experience within fintech, financial services, compliance, cybersecurity or another regulated/technical B2B industry Experience marketing a multi-product SaaS or technology platform Conversion rate optimization or growth experimentation experience Experience with intent-data or account-signal platforms Hands-on exposure to AI search visibility or brand-monitoring tools AI-First Marketing The marketing team actively incorporates AI into its day-to-day workflow, including audience research, campaign development, competitive analysis, landing-page iteration and performance reporting. We're therefore particularly interested in candidates who are already comfortable incorporating tools such as Claude, ChatGPT or similar platforms into their marketing workflow and who have a genuine curiosity around how AI is changing modern demand generation.
