Contract | Nights (3x12 Hours, 19:00–07:00) | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a Cardiovascular Telemetry unit, including overflow telemetry patients
• Monitor and assess cardiovascular and telemetry patients across an 18-bed wing within a 54-bed unit
• Administer treatments, medications, and interventions in accordance with care plans and physician orders
• Document patient assessments, care, and progress accurately using EPIC electronic health records
• Float to other units as needed based on facility census and staffing requirements
• Adhere to scheduling requirements including every other weekend (Friday, Saturday, and Sunday nights) and holiday coverage as applicable

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in Virginia, or active compact license with proof provided at time of submittal
• Current BLS certification through the American Heart Association (AHA)
• Current ACLS certification through the American Heart Association (AHA)
• NIHSS (NIH Stroke Scale) certification and stroke education completed
• Telemetry or Cardiovascular specialty experience within the last year
• EPIC electronic health records experience required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Current PALS certification through the American Heart Association (AHA)
• Flexible scheduling availability with minimal time-off requests during the assignment period
• One supervisory professional reference available at time of submittal
