Position Overview Sutter Medical Group (SMG) seeks a Pediatric Genetics Physician to join a multidisciplinary metabolic care team in Sacramento, CA. The role focuses on metabolic disease, offering opportunity for growth in metabolic specialties while working in a supportive, team-based environment. Responsibilities Evaluate, treat, and manage pediatric patients with metabolic disorders. Provide genetics clinic care and consult with inpatient units. Collaborate with pediatric subspecialists (neurology, cardiology, endocrinology, gastroenterology, etc.). Lead and guide metabolic program operations, with future leadership opportunities. Maintain participation in state programs such as California’s Newborn Screening Program. Qualifications Board-certified or board-eligible Clinical/Metabolic Geneticist. CSG Panelled or willing to obtain paneling. Experience in metabolic genetics preferred. Leadership experience or interest in program development. Comfort managing broad spectrum of pediatric genetic disorders. Commitment to collaborative, multidisciplinary care.
