Radiologic Technologist-PRN / $5,000 sign-on bonus!

Position Radiologic Technologist (Rad Tech) Location: Rochelle Park, NJ Schedule: PRN / Per Diem / As Needed Compensation: $43.00 per hour Sign-on bonus: $5,000 Responsibilities Prepare patients for diagnostic procedures by explaining the process of the scans and properly positioning the patient to capture the appropriate images. Operate equipment to produce cross-sectional images of bones, organs and tissue. Receive and complete requisitions for ordered exams in a timely manner and schedule all exams accurately. Perform diagnostic Radiographic/Fluoroscopic/CT exams on patients in the department and with portable equipment. Demonstrate the ability to inject IV contrast media, as needed. Perform a variety of examinations, reconstructions and printing protocols. Identify mechanical and electronic equipment failures to diagnose problems with radiographic machines and processors. Explain procedures to patients and answer questions related to equipment or procedures. Transport patients to and from the department as required. Order necessary supplies and maintain par levels. Attend required in-services and orientations. Collaborate with floor staff to support excellent patient care. Minimum Qualifications At least two (2) years of experience as a Registered Radiologic Technologist and current state license (as required). ARRT or CMRT certification. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification by start date. Continued licensure/certification CE requirements up to date.
