Role Overview: We are seeking an experienced Technology Asset Inventory & Data Quality Analyst to support enterprise Application Portfolio Management, Technology Asset Inventory, CMDB, and Technology Governance initiatives.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that application and technology asset information is accurate, complete, consistent, current, and properly governed across enterprise repositories. The role will involve working closely with Application Owners, Technology Leads, Infrastructure Teams, and senior stakeholders to identify data-quality gaps, perform validation and reconciliation, drive remediation, and provide governance reporting.

This is primarily a Technology Data Quality, Application Inventory, CMDB, and Governance role , rather than a ServiceNow development position.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain enterprise application and technology asset inventory , ensuring accurate ownership, lifecycle, support, infrastructure dependency, and technology information.
• Perform technology asset and application data quality assessments to identify missing, inaccurate, duplicate, outdated, or inconsistent information.
• Conduct data validation, reconciliation, and completeness analysis across ServiceNow CMDB, asset repositories, application inventories, spreadsheets, and other technology data sources.
• Work with Application Owners, Technology Leads, Infrastructure Teams, and business stakeholders to investigate data discrepancies and drive timely remediation.
• Maintain and validate application metadata including application owner, business owner, support team, lifecycle status, criticality, technology stack, hosting information, and infrastructure dependencies .
• Support Application Portfolio Management and Technology Governance activities, including application lifecycle tracking, ownership governance, technology standards, and inventory compliance.
• Analyze application portfolios to identify data gaps, redundant applications, unsupported technologies, lifecycle risks, and opportunities for application rationalization .
• Develop and maintain data-quality rules, validation processes, reconciliation procedures, and governance standards for application and technology asset information.
• Create executive dashboards, status reports, data-quality metrics, remediation reports, and portfolio analytics using Power BI and advanced Microsoft Excel.
• Track data-quality issues, risks, dependencies, and remediation activities using JIRA and other enterprise tracking tools.
• Support ServiceNow CMDB / Asset Management initiatives by validating CI and application information and ensuring alignment between the CMDB and enterprise technology inventory.
• Prepare and present executive-level status updates, data-quality findings, remediation progress, risks, and recommendations to technology leadership and governance forums.

Mandatory Skills & Experience

• 7+ years of experience in one or more of the following:
• Application Portfolio Management, CMDB, IT Asset Management, Technology Asset Inventory, Application Governance, Technology Operations, or IT Data Quality.
• Strong understanding of Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) and enterprise technology/application repositories.
• Hands-on experience managing and analyzing application inventory and technology asset data .
• Strong experience with data quality assessment, data validation, reconciliation, remediation, and completeness analysis .
• Knowledge of application ownership, support models, infrastructure dependencies, technology lifecycle, and governance processes .
• Experience with ServiceNow CMDB / Asset Management .
• Strong proficiency in Advanced Microsoft Excel for data analysis, reconciliation, validation, and reporting.
• Experience with Power BI for dashboards, portfolio reporting, and data-quality visualization.
• Working knowledge of JIRA, SharePoint, and Microsoft Office Suite .
• Strong stakeholder-management skills with the ability to work effectively with Application Owners, Technology Leads, senior IT stakeholders, and governance teams .

Preferred Experience

• Experience working in Banking or Financial Services technology environments .
• Experience with large-scale enterprise application inventories and technology asset repositories .
• Experience supporting CMDB, IT Asset Management, Application Portfolio Management, or Technology Governance programs.
• Understanding of application rationalization, technology lifecycle management, application ownership governance, and technology risk management .
• Experience identifying and remediating data-quality issues across multiple technology data sources .

The ideal candidate is a Technology/Application Data Quality & Governance professional who understands both the technology landscape and the data behind it . They should be comfortable working with large application inventories, ServiceNow CMDB data, Excel/Power BI reporting, and senior technology stakeholders to validate data, identify gaps, drive remediation, and improve the overall quality and governance of enterprise technology information .
