Position: Kitchen Production Associate – Grab & Go
Employment Type: Hourly
Starting Pay: $16.00/hour
Reports To: Kitchen Manager / Production Lead

POSITION SUMMARY

Low Country Quisine is seeking a dependable, efficient Kitchen Production Associate to support our growing grab-and-go food production program.

This position is primarily responsible for assembling sandwiches, wraps, salads and other ready-to-eat products according to established recipes, portion standards and production quantities.

This is a hands-on, fast-paced production position where speed, accuracy, consistency and food safety are equally important.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

Assemble sandwiches, wraps, salads and other grab-and-go products according to LCQ recipes and specifications.
Portion meats, cheeses, vegetables, spreads, sauces and other ingredients accurately.
Follow established production sheets and daily production quantities.
Maintain consistent portion sizes and product presentation.
Package, seal and label finished products according to company standards.
Verify labels, dates and product information before products leave the production area.
Rotate ingredients and finished products using proper FIFO procedures.
Assist with basic ingredient preparation, including slicing, portioning and organizing ingredients for production.
Set up and break down production stations.
Keep worktables, equipment, utensils and production areas clean and sanitized.
Properly store ingredients and finished products at required temperatures.
Follow all food-safety, sanitation and allergen-handling procedures.
Minimize food waste and immediately communicate shortages or quality concerns.
Assist with other kitchen production duties as needed.

PERFORMANCE EXPECTATIONS

Team members are expected to work with a sense of urgency while maintaining LCQ quality standards. Employees must be able to work efficiently as part of a production line, follow recipes and portion specifications exactly, maintain a clean and organized workstation, meet daily production goals and respond quickly to direction or corrections.

QUALIFICATIONS

Previous kitchen, food production, deli, sandwich assembly or restaurant experience preferred but not required.
Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
Basic understanding of food safety and sanitation.
Ability to perform repetitive production tasks efficiently and accurately.
Strong attention to detail.
Dependable attendance and punctuality.
Ability to stand for extended periods.
Ability to lift and carry up to 30–40 pounds as needed.
Ability to work in refrigerated and standard commercial kitchen environments.

SCHEDULE & AVAILABILITY

This position may be scheduled for 2nd shift or 3rd shift , depending on production volume and delivery requirements.

Candidates must be comfortable with evening, overnight and/or early-morning production hours . Shift start and end times may vary based on weekly production needs.

Reliable attendance and the ability to report to work consistently during the assigned shift are essential for this position.

COMPENSATION

Starting Pay: $16.00 per hour

Opportunities for increased responsibility and advancement may be available as production volume and the grab-and-go program expand.
