Registered Nurse (RN) Emergency Department

Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse for our Emergency Room team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong clinical background and be capable of providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment. This role requires proficiency in emergency care, critical thinking, and the ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Duties Assess and triage patients presenting to the Emergency Room, prioritizing care based on severity of conditions. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring adherence to safety protocols. Monitor patients' vital signs and respond promptly to changes in their condition. Provide airway management and support for patients requiring respiratory assistance. Document all patient interactions accurately in medical records while adhering to HIPAA regulations. Collaborate with physicians, specialists, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans. Educate patients and their families on health management, including health coaching techniques. Participate in quality improvement initiatives within the department. Requirements Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice. Experience in an Emergency Room or critical care setting preferred. Knowledge of physiology, pediatrics, and tube feeding techniques is highly desirable. Familiarity with ophthalmology practices and ambulatory surgery centers is a plus. Strong understanding of medical records management and HIPAA compliance. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to work effectively under pressure. Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays as required by the department.
