Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Pharmacist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A temporary pharmacist opportunity is available to provide essential coverage beginning early September and continuing until a permanent pharmacist is hired. This contract role offers consistent weekday hours with no weekend or on-call requirements, supporting a pharmacy environment focused on accuracy and efficiency.

Location: Ashland, MO
Schedule:

• Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
• Pharmacy closed on all Missouri state holidays

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct pharmacist checks for technician-packaged medications, including reviewing bags flagged by InspectRx software
• Perform repackaging, bag corrections, and refilling of canisters to ensure compliance and precision
• Verify medications using barcode scanning after technician fill
• Collaborate with pharmacy staff for troubleshooting and problem resolution
• Complete approximately three days of training prior to starting work

Qualifications:

• Missouri Board of Pharmacy license in good standing
• A minimum of 1 year recent pharmacy experience required
• Limited order verification responsibilities; behavioral health experience is not necessary
