Job Category Retail Position Summary *Now offering $1,500 sign‑on bonus!* The Automotive Technician plays a pivotal role within our automotive service team. You learn and develop foundational skills in diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining vehicles. Under the guidance of experienced technicians, you will handle routine inspections, vehicle assessments, and repair procedures. You may also interact with customers, explain repair procedures, answer inquiries, and provide exceptional service. The role requires mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and commitment to high‑quality workmanship in a fast‑paced environment. Pay Range $19.25 – $28.93 per hour. Technicians enjoy a performance‑based flat‑rate compensation model that rewards each eligible task. Responsibilities Change oil and perform scheduled maintenance services. Inspect steering, suspension, and brake systems. Install batteries and verify electrical systems. Perform tire maintenance. Install parts. Conduct road tests. Obtain or maintain ASE certifications in at least one of A1–A8 within the first two years of employment (company covers exams; bonus for each test passed). Minimum Qualifications Ability to learn basic mechanical tasks. Valid automobile driver’s license and ability to drive company and customer vehicles. Basic understanding of general automotive maintenance and tire repair services such as oil changes, basic inspections, and tire repair. Reading, writing, and math skills. Preferred Qualifications 2 years automotive repair experience or completion of a vocational‑technical school program in a related field, or demonstrated skills via third‑party certificates/assessment.
