The successful candidate will be tasked with:

• Conducting patient evaluations and assessments.
• Implementing general respiratory care procedures and protocols.
• Performing critical care procedures in adult patient settings.
• Executing blood gas analyses.
• Overseeing the maintenance and management of all relevant equipment.
• Providing education to patients regarding their care.

Minimum Educational Requirements:

• An Associate's Degree in Respiratory Therapy Sciences.

Minimum Experience Required:

• Prior experience in respiratory care, or successful completion of a department-specific orientation that includes validation of skills and competencies for this role.

Licensure and Certification Requirements:

• Must be registered with the National Board for Respiratory Care.
• Licensed by the State of Georgia through the Composite State Board of Medical Examiners.

Additional Qualifications:

• Current certifications in Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS).
• Must actively practice and maintain all necessary competencies.
