Pediatric Occupational Therapist

Overview Wee Speak Therapy & Learning Center is a therapist-owned pediatric clinic dedicated to helping every child reach their full potential. We work as a team to meet each child at their individual developmental level and provide transdisciplinary services to optimize the success of their care. Wee Speak Therapy & Learning Center is seeking a compassionate and skilled Pediatric Occupational Therapist to join our multidisciplinary team in Lafayette, IN. In this role, you will evaluate, plan, and implement individualized therapy programs designed to enhance each child’s ability to perform daily activities and achieve their highest level of independence. You will work with children across a variety of developmental, sensory, motor, and neurological needs in a supportive, child-focused setting. Responsibilities Assessment and Evaluation Conduct comprehensive evaluations to assess motor skills, sensory processing, and daily living abilities in children. Develop individualized treatment plans based on assessment findings and goals. Utilize standardized assessment tools and clinical observations to determine therapy needs. Treatment Planning and Intervention Implement individualized, evidence-based treatment plans tailored to each child. Provide direct occupational therapy services including fine motor development, sensory integration, self-care training, visual-motor coordination, and adaptive strategies. Incorporate engaging, play-based activities into therapy sessions. Collaboration and Family Support Collaborate with speech-language pathologists, physical therapists, and other professionals to ensure a cohesive approach to care. Educate and empower parents and caregivers with strategies to support development at home. Work closely with families to integrate each child’s interests into their therapy plan. Progress and Documentation Track progress, adjust interventions as needed, and maintain accurate documentation in accordance with clinic standards. Qualifications Master’s or Doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy (MSOT or OTD) Valid Indiana State Occupational Therapy License (or eligibility) Pediatric experience preferred; new graduates with strong pediatric clinical rotations are encouraged to apply New graduates welcome!
