Identify gaps in knowledge for both individuals and the team as a whole and work with them to ensure those knowledge gaps are filled.Mentor others to share knowledge and best practices to advance the sales of our products and technologies. Develop and deliver training on business problems, products, and messages for presales team members. Collect and Share Lessons Learned- Share critical technical experience with the rest of the Presales team, both formally and informally.Partner with Product Management. Provide feedback from the market regarding products, including coordinating gaps between product functionality and market/customer demands. Understand details of product direction and design and communicate information back to the sales organization.Maintain Domain and Product Knowledge. Understand the business and technical problems the PayPal products address. Stay current on product roadmap as well as understanding the scenarios, features, and functions within each of the products and how these address business and technical problems of our merchants. Maintain up-to-date understanding of industry trends and technical developments that effect target marketsPartner with the sales team and provide direct support as needed. Build effective working relationship with the sales management and sales engineering teamsJob RequirementsProven success in presenting to large name brand merchantsA passion for learning new technologies and solving problems, and interacting with a variety of name brand merchants.Experience with Internet technologies a must (Web Services/SOAP, HTML, FTP, and SSL).Knowledge of PayPal products and services or Experience with Payments (Credit Card, Banking, Online, Offline).Exceptional written and verbal communication skills and listening skills.Excellent organization skillsWell-developed presentation skillsExcellent customer relations skillsAbility to analyze customer requirements and coordinate with existing productsPMP (optional)Travel required (15%+).Basic QualificationsMinimum of 5 years’ experience as lead Engagement Manager and/or manager of Engagement / Integration Team4+ years internet technologies, programming/system architecture experience.2+ years of PayPal or other payment experience.Excellent verbal and written English skillSubsidiary:PayPalTravel Percent:0The base pay for this role will depend on where you work and the relevant experience and expertise you bring.
