Responsibilities

• Draw quality blood samples from patients of all ages, ensuring safety and accuracy during collection.
• Prepare specimens for lab testing following established procedures.
• Explain procedures to patients to create a trusting and comfortable environment.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation of collections and patient information.
• Create a professional and safe environment for patients and staff.
• Demonstrate leadership behaviors while focusing on process excellence and confidentiality.
• Meet daily productivity goals reliably and efficiently.
• Support organizational efforts to promote a positive image to patients, clients, and the public.

Required Skills

• Excellent phlebotomy skills, including experience drawing blood from pediatric and geriatric patients.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in specimen collection and documentation.
• Proficiency in keyboard and data entry tasks.

Additional Skills & Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Phlebotomy certification preferred; required in California, Nevada, and Washington.
• Minimum of 6 months of direct phlebotomy experience is required; one year or more preferred.
• Medical assistant or paramedic training is a plus.
• Must have reliable transportation and the ability to arrive within 20-25 minutes of the worksite.
• Availability to work flexible schedules, including weekends, holidays, on-call, and overtime, with a commitment to punctuality and full shift coverage.
