In-Seat Server - Grand Casino Arena

Job Summary

The In-Seat Server is responsible for delivering food and beverage items from the kitchen to the guests in various sitting areas throughout the stadium. In this position, the server should have an understanding of the content of the menu and ensures that food is delivered in a timely fashion. The server should understand and follow food safety and sanitation guidelines and help with the execution of area setup and breakdown. Essential duties and responsibilities include:

• Ensuring all food and beverage is properly delivered and/or stored.
• Being knowledgeable on all menu offerings.
• Following set up and break down processes efficiently.
• Understanding all event paperwork and reports.
• Always exceeding guest expectations.
• Adhering to location appearance guidelines.
• Acting with a sense of urgency and professionalism.
• Maintaining prep and service areas.
• Employ good safety and sanitation practices.
• Following responsible alcohol service policies.
• Understanding the importance of maintaining equipment and executing accordingly.
• Thoroughly completing all event set-up and breakdown responsibilities within timelines provided.
• Performing post event product inventory and restocking as needed.
• Helping fellow employees whenever necessary.
• Standing for long periods of time and being able to actively engage physically with guests.
• Ability to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl.
• Reacting with physical and mental alertness in emergency situations.
• Demonstrating physical stamina and agility required to be mobile for long periods throughout the day.
• Lifting/moving materials and equipment up to 50 pounds.
• Moving from sitting to standing position easily and quickly.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications: The ideal candidate will have a desire to gain experience and work in the foodservice or hospitality industry. An outgoing personality is preferred. The candidate should have the ability to interact with high profile guests and remain professional and dedicated to providing exceptional experience. The ability to communicate effectively by speaking and comprehending English, with the ability to problem solve and make decisions with little guidance.
