Corporate MagiQuest IT Support Engineer

Job Summary: The Corporate MagiQuest IT Support Engineer will troubleshoot and fix operational issues related to Great Wolf Resorts’ live-action gaming experience, MagiQuest. This role will work with proprietary software and hardware technologies for all versions of the MagiQuest games operating at all Great Wolf properties. This is a Full-Time Salaried Position located in Chicago, IL.Responsibilities:Provide online and phone support for MagiQuest software and hardware issues, including game system and platform, PCs, screens and monitors, proprietary electronics, mechanical elements, and themed elementsCoordinate with Creative Kingdoms (CK) team, Lodge Retail, Attractions, & Kids Entertainment staff, and other Support Technicians to correct and verify resolution of reported problemsProvide on-site service and support as needed, across all Great Wolf Lodge propertiesProvide support for level 1 & level 2 technology issues for Corporate platforms and Corporate pack membersAssist with in-office test lab maintenanceAssist with software playtesting and bug reproduction as neededOther duties as assignedRequired Qualifications & Skills:Minimum 3 years of work experience in ITAdvanced Microsoft Windows operating system knowledgeExperience with network setup, troubleshooting, and maintenanceExperience with M365, Entra ID, & Active DirectoryExperience with computer hardware installation and troubleshootingStrong interpersonal skills and the ability to work closely with a small teamStrong communication skills (written/verbal) and attention to detailPreferred Qualifications & Skills:Experience working in the software development and/or gaming industryExperience working with virtualized desktop environments, particularly VMWareExperience using and mastering proprietary applicationsExperience working with enterprise server hardware($65,000 - $75,000) annual base salaryAn employee’s pay position within the salary range will be based on several factors, including but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, travel requirements, revenue-based metrics, any contractual agreements, and business or organizational needs. The range listed is just one component of Great Wolf’s total compensation package.
