Registered Nurse – Labor & Delivery (Travel)

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | 13 Weeks | Nights (6:45 PM – 7:15 AM) | Onsite | Travel

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to patients in a Labor & Delivery / Women's Care setting, including labor care, cesarean section recovery, and postpartum care
• Perform pregnancy and preterm labor triage and observation
• Assist with post-gynecological and post-hysterectomy patient care
• Support clean medical-surgical overflow as needed
• Float to PCU, ED, and Med-Surg units per department requirements
• Respond to call requirements as assigned by the unit

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in North Carolina or compact state eligibility
• Minimum 1–2 years of Labor & Delivery experience
• Current BLS, ACLS, NRP, and PALS certifications
• Intermediate Fetal Monitoring competency
• Experience with Obstetrics, Gynecology, Neonatal Care, and Pediatrics patient populations
• Must meet travel designation requirements (60+ miles from facility)

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with the Parragon EHR system
• Comfort caring for a broad patient population including infant, pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients
• Prior travel nursing experience in a Women's Care or Labor & Delivery setting
