Pharmacy Manager

Position Summary As a Pharmacy Manager at Walmart, you will lead a team of pharmacists and pharmacy staff to provide comprehensive patient care, manage pharmacy operations, and engage in community outreach. You will enhance patient outcomes, ensure compliance with regulations, and drive pharmacy performance. Responsibilities Provide comprehensive patient care by processing and dispensing prescription orders, administering immunizations, and running pharmacy programs in compliance with Board of Pharmacy statutes and regulations. Maintain effective merchandise presentation, accurate pricing, proper signage, and optimal inventory levels. Model and enforce customer service standards to resolve customer needs within company guidelines. Coordinate and participate in community outreach programs, encouraging staff to serve as community ambassadors. Ensure compliance with company and legal policies, procedures, and regulations by analyzing reports, implementing loss‑prevention and safety controls, and overseeing safety and quality assurance reviews. Qualifications Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy or PharmD, or equivalent FPGEC (NABP). Active Pharmacy license in the state of employment by job entry date. Completion of an ACPE accredited immunization training program (e.g., APhA, Pharmacy School Curriculum, State Pharmacy Association sponsored). Preferred Qualifications: U.S. pharmacy related experience. Proficiency in working with patients and healthcare providers. Data analysis skills to enhance pharmacy performance and patient outcomes. Financial analysis abilities to support informed business decisions. Experience managing a pharmacy, including overseeing staff and operations.
